

Megan is a Licensed Master of Social Worker (LMSW), currently under supervision of Bridget Dixon, LSCSW, pursuing clinical licensure. She received her Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work from Washburn University. Currently, she attends MidAmerica Nazarene University, working toward a certification in play therapy. Megan has worked in various public service contexts, including special education, community mental health, and early childhood mental health. While working as a school social worker, Megan provides social emotional intervention services, service coordination and program support. She has experience working with individuals in a multitude of areas including trauma, ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, relationship concerns, and other life stressors. She utilizes cognitive behavioral, strengths based and play based approaches when working with children.
Megan is passionate about building healthy relationships with children struggling with emotional or behavioral concerns, and their families, to help build resilience, community, and support systems
